<h4><strong>Beaufort Stock Photo Gallery</strong></h4>
Beaufort, South Carolina is one of the last unspoiled areas on the Eastern seaboard. Beaufort's rivers and sounds are bountiful with fish and crabs and shrimp. Fresh waters from inland rivers meet the ocean in Beaufort to form an estuarine network of tidal creeks and marshes so rich in nourishment that wildlife, birds and fish of incredible variety come here to feed and breed. The air is clean, the winters moderate, the water warm, the beaches long and almost empty.

Historically and architecturally, Beaufort SC is a national treasure and has been designated as a National Historic Landmark District. While many Southern antebellum towns were destroyed by Sherman’s torches or by hurricanes or both, Beaufort, with some of the grandest houses of the Old South, survived.

The military is an integral part of Beaufort, with the Marine Corps Air Station to the north, Parris Island Recruit Depot on Port Royal Sound, and the Naval Hospital at the heart of the community. The Marines take an active roll in community life. They assist in emergencies, entertain at air shows and volunteer at community events.

Beaufort is also known as an arts town, creating, supporting and enjoying an expansive repertoire of music, theater, dance and art events. Artists move to Beaufort because of the cultural climate. In fact, Beaufort has been named one of the best small towns for the arts in the country.

<h4><strong>Charleston Stock Photo Gallery</strong></h4>
To live in Charleston is to walk in the footsteps of Revolutionary War heroes, signers of the Declaration of Independence and authors of the Constitution. With more architecturally significant 18th and 19th century buildings than any other city in America, Charleston glows in the glory of its collection of gracious houses and imposing civic structures.

Surrounding the unique city of Charleston is a vast playground of protected water, marsh and forests, plus 90 miles of beaches, all offering sanctuary to wildlife and outdoor recreation beyond compare. It’s called the Lowcountry and Charleston is its center.

Charleston is the heart and soul of the old and the new south, and is now again the thriving epicenter of art and culture, style and taste. Charleston has weathered pirates, wars, storms, economic devastation and a revolution in its social structure. For three years running, Conde Nast readers have named Charleston number three on their list of best U.S. cities to visit – behind only San Francisco and New York.

<h4><strong>Daufuskie Island Photo Gallery</strong></h4>
So just what is it about a skinny island only five miles long and a couple miles wide that makes it so popular. At the top of everyone’s list is the fact that Daufuskie Island is an island accessed only by boat. Whether it’s a comfortable passenger ferry from Hilton Head, bucking the currents in a kayak, or arriving on your own craft and tying up in the marina at red marker 36, arrival on Daufuskie’s shell-strewn shores takes a degree of effort that is well-rewarded.

Once ashore you can decide how to explore the largely undeveloped yet mesmerizing lush Daufuskie Island. Moving away from the water, you’ll meander along sandy lanes shaded by towering loblolly pines and moss-draped live oaks. You’ll pass painted wooden cottages, an eighteenth century cemetery, and the old Bloody Point Lighthouse. Next, head for the Atlantic side, skirting the resort’s untouched marshland, and you’ll catch glimpses of working shrimp boats on the sparkling water

Everything’s here, and yet nothing’s here. That’s the appeal of Daufuskie Island. If you crave crowds and the cacophony of urban life, Daufuskie might be too slow. On the other hand, you might get used to it once you realize you haven’t heard or seen a car, cell phone or billboard since you arrived.

<h4><strong>Stock Photos of Jackson Hole Wyoming</strong></h4>
There can be a lot of confusion when people start referring to the Jackson Hole Area. First things first, a “Hole” is a historical term for a high altitude valley. Jackson Hole is the common name for the broad-based valley that lies at 6,200 feet above sea level. Jackson Hole is sandwiched between two mountain ranges: the Tetons to the west, the Gros Ventres to the east and is bisected by the Snake River. The Town of Jackson (not Jackson Hole) is situated on the eastern edge of the valley near its southern end.

The popularity of Jackson Hole rose quickly with the invention of the automobile. Tourists headed to Yellowstone country made a visit to Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park an important part of a family's trip to Yellowstone Country. The rise of winter recreation and the ski industry gave further impetus to growth in Jackson Hole. Jackson Hole remains a small, albeit growing, town where outdoor enthusiasts enjoy the conveniences of modern living combined with the spirit of the old west.

<h4><strong>Skiing Stock Photo Gallery</strong></h4>
Jackson Hole and the surrounding area boasts 8,000 acres of lift-serviced terrain spread over three very different resorts. Plus unparalleled back country access to some of the most pristine runs in the country.

 Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
With the greatest sustained vertical drop, 4,128 feet, in the United States Jackson Hole Mountain resort is world famous for it powder, its steeps, and its wide open bowls and glades. More recently the open gate policy has opened up the backcountry for some incredible skiing out of bounds.

Grand Targhee Summer & Winter Resort
It may not be the biggest resort in the area, but what Grand Targhee lacks in size it more than makes up for in snow. Annually, Targhee receives over 500 inches of Mother Nature’s best white stuff. If Jackson Hole gets a foot of powder, there’s no doubt Targhee will have twice that.

Snow King Resort
Just a few blocks from Jackson’s famous town square, Snow King Resort is small but mighty. Three lifts and one surface tow serve a variety of terrain, including one run, Upper Exhibition, rumored to be the steepest inbounds run on the continent.
